First post, First Thoughts

This blog has been on my mind for a few months, but it's taken me a while to get up the courage to actually fire it up. So, welcome to my public journal about my journey into Orthodox Christianity, this blog is as much for me to process what I'm experiencing as it is for me to explain that process to you.

I expect this blog to take on two very different kinds of posts:

1. "Mileage Posts" will be well documented stops along the way. These will be the meat and potatoes about the journey and will give a more in depth glimpse into what's going on.
2. "Scenic Posts" will be more free-form expressions designed to help me process stuff that's going on. They may be rambling, I may be venting... I may be flat-out ranting.

Either way, I'll make sure that each post is clearly marked so you don't end up lost.
